We are proud to announce the collaboration with Djinda Kaal Dreaming (Fiona) for the creation of a vibrant mural on our main office on Whadjuk Noongar land has been completed.
The mural is a burst of vivid colours, each intricately chosen to embody the essence of the Noongar Seasons, bringing forth a sense of warmth and the promise of brighter days illuminated by the sun’s rays. These colours not only uplift your spirits but also symbolise the enduring concept of Hope.
Embedded within this mural is the essence of the name “Yorgum,” drawn from the Noongar language, symbolised by a red flowering gum seamlessly integrated into the mural’s narrative.
Fiona, also known as Djinda Kaal and connected to the Ballardong and Whadjuk clans, has lent her artistic prowess to visually represent Yorgum’s rich identity.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to Fiona for her invaluable contribution to our visual storytelling journey.
